Bastianos Dive Resort is a active member of PADI International Resort Association. We are located on Liang Beach on Bunaken Island in Indonesia. Direct flights from Singapore, Philippines and several cities in Indonesia to Manado City, the capital of North Sulawesi, makes it easy to reach us and the world famous coral reefs we dive on.
Our Dive Resort on Bunaken Island was established in 1995 as a place where people from all over the world could enjoy fantastic beach and snorkeling opportunities. In 2004 a dive center of high quality was added to the resort so our guests could enjoy the rich marine life as dept as well. The resort and dive center has Indonesian staff under European management.
A second dive resort was built in Lembeh Strait in 2006, to serve customers with diving in the muck diving capital of the world. So guests can now combine diving in two of the best diving spots in the world (www.bastianoslembeh.com).
The Dive Center
Certified divers can enjoy scuba diving in small groups of not more then 4 divers per divemaster. We have well maintained, custom built, traditional wooden dive boats of various sizes. All boats has a first aid kit and emergency oxygen sets for your safety.
You can rent scuba dicing equipment from us if you should not bring your own. We use well known brands like Scubapro, Seaquest, Mares and so on and there is available sets in most sizes. Our two compressors makes sure that we have clean air fills.
Excursion trips are available with minimum divers. We used to go to Bangka/Gangga for a daytrip if we have minimum 6 divers with min. 2 dives each diver. Beside Bangka we can also organized a daytrip to Nain Island, Poopoh, Manado Shipwreck, Mainland Coast, and even for people that doesn’t have enough time to try and stay at our resort at Lembeh, they can only goes for a day trip with minimum 6 divers on the trip.
PADI Diving Courses are available from first level of Open Water up to Dive master. Trained by highly professional local PADI Instructors.
Introduction Dive is an option for anyone that uncertified yet but would like to go for some recreational dive in the blue sea. With some education of basic skills and how to use the scuba gear, you can go and jump into the water for some real dives. This program will be trained and assist with our Diving Instructors and Dive masters.
Accommodation
We have 10 Beach-front Rooms and 10 Hillside Rooms + 4 Standard Rooms. All in wooden cottages with private attached bathroom with western-style toilets, cooling fan, mosquito net, balcony.
Our resort have a large dining area in the middle with ocean view, pool table, television and DVD player with various choices of latest movies
Bastianos have a long bright opened sandy beach which is possible for you of having sunbathing while you can laying on our bamboo chairs, snorkeling from our beach to the house-reef for about 50 meters.
